What is this project about?
The project aims to celebrate the people, cultures and organisations that have supported Blossom Ladies Brunch CIC throughout the year by bringing everyone together for a community dinner. The event strengthens social connections, allowing community members to meet, build relationships and appreciate one another’s contributions. It also encourages collaboration and teamwork among young people, who will help organise the event and develop a shared sense of responsibility.The overall aim of the event is to celebrate our community impact and appreciate the people, localbusinesses and organisations that have has supported us during the year 2024.
Benefits of the project

The event will highlight the diversity within our community and learn about other’s people culture through cuisine and dressing.

Local businesses will benefit from the event by using their services and products to cater for the event contributing to the local economy;

It will help raise awareness of and support local business.

It will enhance mental well-being of people through social gatherings which have been shown to improve people’s emotional well-being by reducing isolation, stress and anxiety.
What difference does the project make?
The project makes a clear difference by strengthening community cohesion and renewing engagement with Blossom Ladies Brunch CIC’s mission. The event brought people together to network, share ideas and discuss practical ways to increase local impact. It created a space where community members could reconnect, reflect on progress and identify new opportunities for collaboration.
Importantly, the event reignited awareness of the positive work Blossom Ladies Brunch CIC has been doing throughout the community. By showcasing achievements and encouraging open dialogue, it helped rebuild momentum, deepen relationships and inspire continued involvement in future initiatives.
